Thoughts from the Director
Greetings and welcome to the Website for Kirkmont Center!
Kirkmont has been serving the Church and other groups since 1963. Our name is from the Scottish words for church (kirche) and mountain. Located at the second highest point in Ohio, Kirkmont is truly the "Church on the mountain." Many, many persons of all ages have found Kirkmont to be a special place. It is a place where children, woman and men can learn and grow, relax and rest, feel the presence of God's spirit, and enjoy the natural world of God's creation at the same time as they are in rich fellowship with others.
Summer camps and retreats at other times of the year bring over 2,000 persons to Kirkmont annually. Educational programs teach stewardship of the earth and help school children think creatively. Groups rent the facilities as locations for their own programs or use our outstanding staff as a resource.

Call me or another staff member if you have questions, and come visit these beautiful 277 acres if you have not been here before. Walk the six miles of trails, meditate at the labyrinth, eat sumptuous meals, be challenged at the high or low ropes courses, rest in one of the lodges, swim in the pool, let your souls be nourished.
